LIVING/BIKE STORE

In the Netherlands, for many inhabitants, biking has always been an essential means of transportation. The Living/bike store concept makes use of this aspect and integrates an existing bike path which slowly integrates into the building next to it that is situated on the narrow corner of a street-based in Amsterdam. The use of an inside and outside space is being merged. The inhabitants can reach the different living quarters by the sloopy bike road that goes through the whole building, starting from the roadside until the upper half of the building.
