Every Rising Shell is handcrafted to order in the Netherlands, bridging traditional artisan precision with innovative kinetic engineering. The piece is meticulously constructed from premium sustainably sourced wood, celebrating the rich, natural warmth and unique grain of the material. Each surface is carefully hand-finished with a premium, food-safe transparent oil wax that protects the wood while highlighting its tactile beauty.
The fluid, repeatable movement of the structure is enabled by a custom-engineered flexible architecture. This mechanism ensures that the transition from a flat plane to a three-dimensional vessel is smooth, durable, and structurally sound, offering a beautiful interplay of light and shadow through its open-slat design.

Each Rising Shell is meticulously handcrafted upon request in our studio to ensure the highest level of finish and structural precision. Please allow an estimated production lead time of 6 to 8 weeks before shipment if not in stock.
Worldwide insured shipping is available. Once your design is finalized and prepared for transport, you will receive a dedicated tracking link to follow its journey to your space.
Two-Year Studio Warranty
We stand firmly behind the structural innovation and lasting quality of our kinetic designs. Every Rising Shell comes with a comprehensive two-year studio warranty from the date of delivery.

What is Covered: This warranty covers any manufacturing defects, structural integrity issues, and the smooth functionality of the custom kinetic joint mechanism under normal, residential use.

What is Excluded: This warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear that naturally occurs over time, such as minor wood aging. It also excludes damages resulting from improper handling, overloading beyond the specified weight capacity, or exposure to extreme environmental conditions, such as severe humidity or direct weather elements.

Quality Guarantee & Returns
We take immense pride in the craftsmanship of every design that leaves our studio. Because each Rising Shell is handcrafted individually upon request, we encourage you to review all technical specifications and spatial requirements carefully before purchasing.

Returns: If you wish to return your design, please contact the studio within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unaltered, and securely packed in its original custom packaging to prevent damage during transit. Return shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the client.

Damages during Transit: Every shipment is fully insured. In the rare event that your product arrives damaged, please inspect the package upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours with photographic documentation so we can prioritize a swift resolution or replacement.

With mindful care, your kinetic sculpture will remain a functional work of art for generations. To preserve the natural wood and flexible components, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and highly humid environments. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. No harsh chemicals, liquids, or abrasive materials should be used.
